Our Philosophy: Maintaining Peak Performance
Stay in Balance

When your spine and nervous system are in balance, your body will always work toward performing at peak levels.

An aligned and balanced spine allows the nerve pathways between your brain and body to be free and clear. When your brain receives clear feedback from your body, it can reply with clear and balanced instructions for more coordinated body performance.

More balanced body performance reduces actual wear and tear or stress on weight bearing joints, such as your spine, hips, knees, ankles and feet.

Health Tips

Exercise.
Eat thoughtfully.
Pay attention to and respect your body’s limitations. Don’t overdo the exercise.
Relax—do something you enjoy to get out of life’s ruts.
Sit straight while in a chair, supporting your lower back and only crossing your legs at your ankles.
If working at a computer, get up, stretch and walk around every hour or so.
Walk instead of drive whenever you can.
Get enough sleep.
Use a pillow between or under your knees when lying down to reduce stress on your lower back
Sleep on your back or on your side—never on your stomach! Use a pillow of appropriate size to support your neck and head in a neutral position.
Lift and carry weight properly by bending your legs rather than your back. Get help or make multiple trips rather than risk injury.
Do things more slowly and deliberately, especially when under stress.
Do not overreach for items on top shelves or at the back of cabinets.
Remove stresses, whether they be physical, chemical, or emotional, from your environment.
Remove yourself from stressful environments, whether they be physical, chemical, or emotional.
Do your best to cultivate a cheerful attitude and keep a sense of humor.
Support your efforts to be your best with regular chiropractic check-ups—and adjustments if necessary.
